Painting

My paintings are probably the most personal aspect of my work, as I view them as the most direct process I use to express my experiences.

They are an interpretation of a range of concepts based on the natural world; its textures, colours and infinite variety of forms.

Processes usually involve acrylic inks, watercolour, gouache, bees wax, and hand-made papers.

I run a weekly workshop in all aspects of creating a personal record of the world around us, including drawing techniques and processes, working with colour, collage and mixed media.
